here is my mid term screens, i decided to actually start over from scratch because i didnt like where the old level was going, i hope you guys like it. :) I also hope to have my character done before the night is over as well.
ok so this is what were going to do. rip out all the mehses, redo the trees, redo the house, add more buildings, get more sharper textures add more static meshes, better looking water, the works.
My favorite part of your work (and I'm not sure if its something to do with unreal - I have pretty much no experience with it) is the fact that the water is clear. I really, really like that You can see the hill go under the water.
Your textures look brilliant and the sun coming over the mountains looks nice also.
the lake and mountains look great and the sand really adds to the feel of the lake. My one comment would be the trees could use some more volume. you can see through them and not their lack of innards at the moment.

As Lynn said, the sand in your lake was an excellent touch.
I also like how natural the mountains appear. The snow caps are a great touch as well.
The light effect you got from the sun was nice. I noticed there were light beams passing through the trees in your first and second pictures.
I want to say the bricks for your trail seem quite large but then again I don't know how close the camera is to the ground.

Very nice, its very smooth and has depth, though the smoothness is a bit of a cheat because a lot of the smoothness is from the editor :P
But I like your textures and background the most, they're very clean and work well together.
