I really like your buildings, the textures on them are nice. I also like your skycube, for some reason it gives me the feeling of a western desert as opposed to, say, the sahara or egypt. I definitely get a sense of being in the middle of nowhere.
Your textures on your buildings and eco look extremely good, they have a good rustic feel to them. The terrain is the only thing I have a real problem with, I think the hills are too steep for sand, and that combined with the texture for the sand being a little bland creates the effect of light dirt as opposed to sandy desert.
The background and skybox look beautiful, but I think shallowing out the dunes would make it feel more like desert, and if possible editing the texture file to have more variation in colors.
I like the texture work and style of the scene. The concept is very cool and the textures are really, really good on the buildings. The renders of the buildings look very professional and nicely done.
As far as room for improvement, I think it looks very sparse. The buildings lack details and almost look like toys. I like the terrain but the dunes are extremely sharp in some spots and don't look quite believable.
The only other issue I have is that the trees don't look real. There's nothing wrong with the work that was put into them but they don't match real-life plants. I would use some image references of real palm trees and foliage to give them a more believable growth.
I like your textures and the layout. the palm tree leaves could probably use a few more polys to give them some more natural angles. the biggest thing though is the water, while it looks really nice, it's a different color than the sky, which it should be a reflection of.
Double post here, but I had an after thought; creating a separate model that's just a palm tree knot would allow you to add some uniqueness to the trees by dropping extra knots into the trees.
Your textures are awesome, you need to fix those shadows of the palms tho. They seem like an umbrealla. Cant wait to see the sunset lighting. Do you plan on putting some more buildings?
Looks pretty cool My favorite part is the building. I really like your trees to. I would like to have those in my game.
I have a few things to look over. Sand dunes in the desert usually have a sharper curve to their slopes. Take this one for example. http://photography.nationalgeographic.com/staticfiles/NGS/Shared/StaticFiles/Photography/Images/Content/egypt-sand-dunes-300632-ga.jpg
Google sand dunes and observe how the desert behaves. I would add vegetation or darker terrain or something around the water. The tree's should have a slightly larger base.
